home on the range

It is good to be home. We went out to eat with my aunt and uncle tonight. I ate too much. Tomorrow I will make laundry my mission. and perhaps some management. I should get some done before Matt and I go to Chicago next week. tonight i am feeling a bit anti-social. I’ll see what is on TV, maybe I’ll find something good. I’ll probably will just end up watching something stupid that will lower my IQ, like Elimidate–a show that is not even about dating or finding the right person, but about winning. I would never participate in such a show, but it is rather entertaining. I guess its like Jerry Springer, but not quite as bad.

I keep finding bugs in my senior project. This makes me sad because i am already afraid of not finishing. boo to that noise. I just need to forget about it for this week.

repeaters suck

I worked on senior project for 4 or 5 hours today, but i didn’t get anywhere. It makes me so frusterated when i can’t make any progress. It makes me feel so stupid. I have looked in text books and on the internet for help with little luck. This is stuff i should be able to figure out. ARG! I want to scream! All i want to do is create a 2 dimensional array from 3 queries, sort the array, and bind it to a repeater. is that so much to ask?

why am i not tired?

hello all. It is 2:42am and I am wondering what I am still doing up. It could be because i stayed up until 3 am last night. Today I got up earlier than usual, and worked on senior project for about 5 or 6 hours. I got a whole lot done, so that excites me. Time went by fast and perhaps that is why I am not too tired. I just sat in front of my computer all day…well, i did take a nap and watch passions, dr. phil, and oprah.

As you can see I changed my blog layout. I am using a theme called Pool with some minor adjustments and tweaks. I’ve been playing around with it for the past couple hours. I am pleased to get the weather module back up so that I never have to guess at how cold it is outside. Anyway, so far I am happy with the layout, although I do wonder how it would look with 3 columns instead of 2.

nothing funny or witty

Matt and I were in Kansas friday and saturday to sign our leases. Everything went pretty well. I got the apartment that i wanted and I even got a deal on it! I’m excited. My lease doesn’t start as early as I originally wanted it to though, so i’ll have to move in over a weekend rather than have a whole week. But the good news is that I’ll save some money.

lately I don’t have much motivation to blog. I think its because I am working on senior project alot and my brain gets fried. I want to change the layout some and add that weather module back. Hopefully, the motivation will return.

I somehow managed to loose a library book. I have no idea where it could be. I am not even sure that I have it, but I see a big fine in my future.

I just got a letter today informing me that i got the Dean’s Distinguished Scholar Award! It is only given to the top two students in each department. Yay!
