The past week we’ve been keeping busy moving into a new place. It is a little country town, but it seems to be growing on me. Last night we went to the only grocery store in town. They were listening to some catchy country songs inside–I got a kick out of that. It was actually a cute little store, but what sold me on it was what happened at checkout. The “bagger” (who I swear had a bit of an accent) not only bagged the groceries (and the bags were some old fashioned papper bags with handles and everything), but he put them on a little cart and actually took them out to the car for us! I didn’t think people did that anymore! What is this? 1950? How quaint!
