I hate winter

We got some snow here last night.

On the way to work this morning, we had a little scare.
We were on a four lane divided highway.
It is a county road and a lot less travelled than the interstate.

We hit an ice patch and started to swerve. We were in the right-most lane and my first thought is that we were going to hit a car in the left lane.

We swerved into the left lane (thankfully not hitting anyone), and kept sliding.

Before I knew it, we were crossing the grassy median at a 90 degree angle. I thought surely that we would stop there.

The next thing I know, we crossed over onto the other side of the highway. I looked up and saw a truck off in the distance coming towards us.
Luckily, we crossed both lanes and landed in the shoulder on the opposite side before he got close.

All in all, we crossed the median and 3 lanes of traffic.

Stunned, I looked over at Matt and said, “Let’s go home”.

Obviously not shaken by what just happened, he replied, “What? Why would we go home? We are almost to highway 70, the roads will be clear there.”

we made it to work.

Dear Previous Homeowners,

Dear Previous Homeowners,

I understand that wallpaper was still popular in the 90’s and we don’t have a problem removing some wallpaper.
We do have a problem however, with your tastes. Seriously, I can’t see straight with all those stripes!

And why in the world did you find it necessary to wallpaper the inside of your kitchen cabinets?
Did you think that you would really cook any better with flowers all over your shelves?

We only ask that you think about things twice before you go wallpaper-crazy.
Don’t do it for us…do it for the future homeowners of your next home.

Sincerely,

Anna & Matt
