Lugnut, Tina & Mr. Stapler
July 26, 2007 on 7:20 pm | In Uncategorized | 1 CommentI keep getting a kick out of our kittens. They are entertained by the simplest of things. They will play with a straw on the kitchen floor for hours (or at least until they kick it under the stove).
But if you are looking for a really good time, try to sweep the floor. They go crazy.
Lugnut is the male and a barrel of trouble. He is always chasing Tina around and nipping at us. In the morning though, he curls up with us in bed to cuddle.
Tina is the female. She is a bit smaller, and has a lot of fur on her ears (its kinda funny looking). She is really sweet but a bit restless. It takes her a long time to get comfortable, and she likes to curl up behind our rack of DVDs.
Then there is Mr. Stapler. I adopted Don Bartholomew Diego Rodriguez Stapler when his father moved. He is a good little stapler — very well behaved and never complains.
new roof
July 14, 2007 on 9:33 pm | In Uncategorized | 2 CommentsWe came home on Friday to see a brand new roof waiting for us.
While I was excited to see that it was done, I didn’t feel as relieved as I thought that I would.
I guess I am still a bit concerned about the joint where the house meets the roof.
I can see where they have cut away the trim…I just hope that was enough.
After we get the next rain (and everything stays dry), I’ll feel better.
Then we just have to replace the drywall, insulation, and paint.
Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love you Tomorrow…

in hot water
July 10, 2007 on 9:23 am | In Uncategorized | 5 CommentsA couple weeks ago we noticed that our hot water heater was leaking slightly.
Great, another thing in the house breaking down!
Yesterday we were able to get it replaced. The hot shower this morning was fabulous!
and thanks to our home warranty, we only had to pay a fraction of the cost.
