binary cake

I made Matt a birthday cake early so that we’ll have enough time to eat it before Thanksgiving.
I decorated it with “Happy Birthday Matt” in binary.
I’m no professional cake decorator, but it could have been a lot worse.

new mirror

We are almost done re-doing our downstairs powder room.
Awhile back we removed all the wallpaper and painted the first coat.
We replaced the towel rod and toilet paper holder.
Today we ordered this mirror (only in Java):

no thank you

I hate people who don’t know how to say ‘Thank You’. It bugs me to no end.

You asked me to do something because you were unable to do it. You know I worked way late to get it done….and you can’t even say ‘thank you’? Instead you ask me for other things. Do you think I am your secretary?

What is wrong with you? do you seriously not have that in your vocabulary?

I haven’t posted in awhile, so here goes.

I hope everyone had a good Halloween. Doug had a party. Matt stayed up until 2am helping to build a haunted house on his deck. It turned out pretty cool. I wanted to dress up, but didn’t want to buy a costume…So I just threw on some black makeup and went goth.

This weekend, Matt and I went to Nebraska for a wedding. On the way, we stopped by to see Nicky and Quincy. It was good to see them. Quincy is getting so big!
Anyway, the wedding was really neat. It was at Joslyn Castle. The woodwork in there was amazing. You should check out the photos.

Let’s see, what else is new… Work is about the same. We all moved cubes and I have a window seat now. I am super excited about that! The sun comes through the window in the morning, and keeps my cube nice and warm.
