I miss my husband

So, as you probably know from some of my previous posts, work has been a bit stressful and time-consuming lately. There were several weeks when I worked 70 hours. Thankfully, the past couple weeks have slowed down for me…but unfortunately, they have picked up for Matt.
For the past 2 weeks, he’s worked over 70 hours. I’m lucky if I have more than a 5 minute conversation with him during the week. Then of course over the weekend, I’m a psycho clingy wife, which is not good either.

I hope this ends soon. The longer this lasts, the angrier I’m getting at our employer.
You just can’t keep up working these hours…you get completely burnt out.

What is that saying? “This too shall pass”

Saturday night, we decided to make chocolate-covered pretzels at 11pm.

Why not?

I wish I had more things I could dip in chocolate.

I hate that winter came back. I was so ready for summer. I’m ready for t-shirts, flip flops, and BBQs!

When I woke up this morning though, I had to admit a simple truth…the snow is absolutely beautiful!
There is not a twig or leaf that is not covered by it. White…everywhere!

I had to reach for my camera, although these pictures don’t do it justice.

Now, if it could just melt by the time I have to go to work tomorrow, that would be great!

Average Thursday evening.

This week, I decided to take some photos of my average Thursday evening. You know, to capture the stuff I do every week.

• I went to the book store, hung out with the Fett.
  
• Saw my stormtrooper friends. One of which, I had to ask…”Aren’t you a little short for a stormtrooper?”
  I don’t think he found it very funny.
  
• Ran into some tuscan raiders and some Jawas.
  

All in all, it was a good evening.

I can’t believe it is Sunday already.
Things have been really crazy at work. I had several 16 hour days this past week. Friday, I actually didn’t work much, which is a good thing because I worked all day on Saturday with production implementation issues.

Lately, I haven’t been sleeping very well and the sleep I have been getting is not on a decent schedule. The other night it was 3am and I couldn’t sleep…And I can always sleep! I’ve also got a lot on my mind so that doesn’t help.

I think things will be a bit calmer today, so I can finally see my husband, do the laundry, and clean the house.

Hopefully, I can sleep tonight.
