101 things in 1001 days

Over a month ago, I started making a list of 101 things to do in 1001 days. I’ve seen several others do it and it seems like a neat idea. I always push off doing a lot of things…this way, I can hold myself somewhat accountable.

I’ve been writing this list forever and I only have 30 items on my list. How am I ever going to get to 101? I didn’t realize it was going to be so hard just to list out stuff I want to do. The worst part is that since I started the list, I’ve already done some of the items. So do I just take those off and not get any credit for them? Or should I just consider the start date when I started the list even if it wasn’t complete?

I’ve always kept up with reading my friends’ blogs. Some of you have been slacking in posting new content. Don’t you know that it is your responsibility to keep me entertained? (just kidding of course)

Lately, I’ve been reading strangers’ blogs as well. I’m not really sure why. I think I just like to get a glimpse into what other people’s lives are like. It makes me wonder…are there any strangers getting a glimpse into mine?

shit hits the…wall

I’m warning you now…the “shit” I’m speaking of is not figurative.

Yesterday, I got home from work and started playing with Tina. Lugnut was using the litter box at the time and must have heard us playing. He ran out of that litter box towards us as fast as his little cat body would take him.

There was only one problem. He apparently…had some…how should I say this…dingleberries?
Anyway, at that speed, the…um…dingleberries…took flight and flung against the wall.

gross.

People Suck and other random stuff

People suck. But I’m sure you already knew that. I am very angry about some childish work happenings…but it is so nice outside right now, I’m starting to forget about work. I think if it weren’t for the bugs, I’d spend all day outside. Our next house project will be outside. We have a very small deck. We also have a bit of a drainage problem. We need to regrade some spots and the either put in a new (larger) deck or put in a brick patio. I haven’t decided which one I would rather have. As long as there is a nice spot for me to curl up with a book on a nice day, I’ll be happy.

Thinking about that makes me tired. I think I’ll take a nap. I miss naps.
